Delta Kappa Chapter Partners With St. Matthew C.M.E. Church for St. Jude Sunday of Hope

On Sunday, March 27th, The Delta Kappa Chapter held its first ever St. Jude Sunday of Hope event. The event took place at St. Matthew Christian Methodist Episcopal Church.

The generosity and support of the church helped the chapter exceed its goal of $500, rasising a total of $848.

Kappa Alpha Psi has been partnering with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital since July of 2005. Since this time the Fraternity has held numerous golf tournaments and benefits on behalf of the hospital and even presented the hospital with more than $100,000 last year alone.

The Delta Kappa Chapter is excited by the success of this initial event and looks forward to hosting others to further benefit St. Jude. Chapter members expect this to be the begining of a lasting partnership with the St. Matthew Church community.
